About WENWEI
I am Cantonese of Hakka ethnicity who, naturally, speaks Mandarin, Hakka and Cantonese.
Translating and interpreting is part of my job during my work, mainly for performing arts, contemporary arts, business negotiation, primary school teaching, social issues (e.g. sustainability).
So I do have to play with words a lot and switch my mindsets (sub)consciously. The multicultural working environment also leads to some spontaneous or arranged Chinese class (mainly conversation practice).
