About Peta
My name is Peta, I am a Charlotte, North Carolina native, but I have family in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Belgium. As a child and teen, my family made constant visits to Belgium and learned about the Belgian culture (The chocolate and waffles are definitely life-changing). After serving the country in the United States Army, I wanted to seek other ways to serve my community and country, and education seemed like the best place to start! The classroom is definitely where my hopes are set, but starting out online sounds like such an adventure!
