About Jordi
I am an engineer at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, I studied English at a private academy since I was 5 years old and now I have specialized in vocabulary and maritime communication. I have previously worked professionally with children from 3 to 18 years old, offering both English and robotics classes. I have also given refresher courses in Language, History, Philosophy, Mathematics, Physics, Technical Drawing, and in general all the subjects for which I could have been interested during my life.

My teaching method is particular since it is part of the approach to the student from a previous study of their tastes and hobbies. Linking the language with your preferred subject involves an increase of interest and therefore of involvement on the part of the student. So my classes consist of the introduction of a multimedia element (either a song, fragment of a series / film) or a text contributed by me that is related to the subject requested by the student, containing the verb tenses, forms and vocabulary necessary for its evolution. Finally, I also try to teach all my classes 100% in English for a greater immersion, changing to Catalan or Spanish in case of requiring a more exhaustive explanation on the part of the student.
