About Marcela
I am a professional (I went through university, completed an MBA, and also a Project Management Diploma) with plenty of experience in different areas, but my true passion is teaching. I have taught ESL for over 10 years, and also had the wonderful experience of teaching at an all-girls school. During that experience, I taught Language Arts and Social Studies, acquiring more experience with teenagers (I taught students from 8th to 12th grades).For my first English teaching experience I had to pass the TOEFL exam, scoring 100 (High).
Also, I am a mother of two girls (fraternal twins), which has given me the opportunity to help them as they have gone through their studies (currently in 6th grade).

I am a patient, thorough teacher that will look at every word and detail my student(s) write, providing constant feedback and techniques to improve. A typical lesson has a topic introduction, explanation with examples, and then, it's hands onto learning as we practice.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I care about speaking, reading, and writing correctly, not only good enough for people to understand what is being said.
