About Gaetan
Originally from France, I moved to London in 2012. Studying graphic design at Central St. Martins.
I then worked fully in this field for three years, before transitioning towards fashion photography. Becoming a lighting assistant. I worked on productions for the likes of Vogue, Cartier, Fendi etc...
I then fell into education, when once I started my career, photographing for magazines and clients, I got a part-time job working as a darkroom technician. Meanwhile it did indeed give a healthy balance to my professional life. I loved sharing skills and stories with students. The following year I became an AL at LCF, followed by a lecturer at the FRA.
Nowadays my life is split between commissions and lecturing.
Overly curious by nature, working in education allowed me to further my skills. Ranging from illustration, 3D using Blender, Book Binding, analogue photography, editing etc...

Curious by nature, and having experienced the French and British art system. I embrace classic skills while giving them a modern twist.
I have worked as a print/darkroom & book binding technician before becoming an Associate Lecturer at LCF and then a Lecturer at London Fashion Retail Academy.
Each lesson lasts around two hours.
Starting with a contextual introduction/ exposure to references. Before jumping into a follow along tutorial session. Followed by a supervised individual task to reinforce the learning outcome.
My lessons are for the curious minds. Anyone who wants to learn anything from 3D Printing, stop motion animation, analogue or digital photography alongside some key graphic design skills.
Being from an early age (for the right mind), an A level/ foundation student or anyone who wants to develop a portfolio for art school.
