About Daphne
I am deeply passionate about coding and computer programming, and sharing this passion with students is at the heart of what I do. For me, teaching is not just about explaining syntax or solving problems—it’s about inspiring curiosity, fostering creativity, and helping students develop confidence in their abilities. Witnessing a student grasp a complex concept or complete a challenging project is incredibly rewarding and motivates me to continuously improve my teaching. I am passionate about helping students experience the satisfaction of building something from scratch, whether it’s a small programme, a full-fledged application, or an optimised algorithm. My goal is to guide learners in discovering the excitement of programming and developing a mindset that embraces challenges and enjoys problem-solving. I also stay up-to-date with the latest tools, techniques, and best practices in software development so I can bring current, real-world knowledge into every lesson. I approach teaching with patience, empathy, and encouragement, creating a supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, experiment, and grow. My ultimate passion is to help learners not just succeed in coding but to truly enjoy the journey, unlocking their full potential as creative, capable programmers.
