Lesson Plan – For Adults (Beginners)
Lesson Title: Introduction to Arabic Alphabet (ا – ب – ت – ث – ج)
Level: Adults / Beginner
Duration: 45 minutes
Objectives:
Identify and pronounce the first 5 Arabic letters.
Write letters in isolated form.
Recognize simple words with these letters.
Materials:
Whiteboard or slides
Worksheet with letters and words
Audio for pronunciation
Warm-up (5 min):
Short discussion: “Why do you want to learn Arabic?”
Introduce Arabic script direction (right to left).
Presentation (15 min):
Teach 5 letters step by step.
Demonstrate pronunciation and writing.
Practice (15 min):
Students repeat sounds.
Write letters on worksheets.
Match sound to letter activity.
Production (5 min):
Build 2–3 simple words (e.g., باب، بيت).
Students try to read them.
Assessment (5 min):
Teacher says sound → student writes the letter.
Homework:
Write each letter 5 times.
Practice 2–3 words with audio support.
