About Nathan
Admitting that I am still surprised by how quickly language clicks for a determined student is a small confession I make quite often. My path into this field began with a fascination for linguistics which led me to earn a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics and CELTA.
I have guided 152 students through various challenges, from writing skills and academic writing to complex TOEFL preparation. You can expect help with listening comprehension, exam speaking practice, idioms, phrasal verbs, and everyday conversation. Reading comprehension is also a major focus for my learners. I look forward to helping you reach your goals in a supportive and patient manner.

Given my 13 years of experience, I always offer a diagnostic level test before we start to ensure we are working at the correct pace. My Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics and CELTA background informs how I break down complex IELTS preparation or academic writing tasks into manageable steps.
