About Edgard
Bonjour, hello! Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, I am a sports hospitality professional with international experience who recently moved to Montréal. I graduated in business from the best private business school of Brazil (PUC-Rio de Janeiro) and I am starting my Master in Football Business from the FBA Institute. I worked as a part-time private Portuguese teacher for 2 years in Rio de Janeiro for executives from the luxury sector. I would be delighted to teach you my native language ; I am also a musician and passionated about Brazil's culture and history. My students in the past always came from personal recommandations as my lessons are mostly tailor-made towards my students' main interests and future goals.

I adopt an interactive and highly communicative approach, always incorporating cultural materials and content to my exercises. Due to its diversity and richness, Brazilian music is an important tool for learning the language and learning more about the culture. I aim at making the grammatical and syntactical learning is made entertaining and informative. Also, I include multi-media materials such as videos and films into my class materials, I tailor all my classes to the students' interests and preferences.
Furthermore, I provide exclusive tutorial services tailored to the needs my students-- from professionals from the oil and gas sector to high school students. I do online lessons but also at your home or your favorite co-working space. My goal is always to ensure that you reach your learning objectives in the most effective way.
