About Wesley

As a French tutor with 13+ years of experience, I have helped around 150 to 200 High School and College students improve their understanding of the language and achieve their learning goals. My teaching philosophy is based on understanding, application, and continuous practice.

I believe that learning a language is not just about memorising rules but about using it confidently in real-life situations. I focus on helping students understand concepts clearly and then apply them through conversation, exercises, and interactive activities. My lessons are designed to be structured, engaging, and easy to follow.

I also provide support for exams and help students improve their academic performance. One of my notable achievements is helping students overcome their fear of learning French and become confident in expressing themselves. I aim to create a positive and motivating environment where students feel encouraged to succeed.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching French emphasises clarity, engagement, and practical usage. I use real-life examples, case studies, and conversation-based exercises to help students understand how the language works naturally in everyday and professional contexts.

I maintain flexibility by tailoring lessons to each student’s level, pace, and goals to ensure a personalised and effective learning experience. Collaboration is central to my methodology, and I involve students in discussions, role-plays, and exercises that enhance fluency, comprehension, and confidence.

I also foster a compassionate and encouraging environment where students feel supported and motivated. Along with French, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing, and cultural understanding to provide a complete and immersive learning experience.
