About Ashley

To let you know a little bit more about me, I graduated from Manhattan School of Music (MSM) with a Bachelor of Music from the musical theater department. This program has given me the skills to be confident on stage and speak to people in an eloquent way. I've worked as a Summer English Studies Ambassador and International Peer Advisor working with international students coming to MSM to strengthen their English skills before the semester started. I'm also a multilingual individual. Besides English, I'm fluent in Slovak, and I have my Seal of Biliteracy in French. I know what it's like to learn a new language and how speaking to people beyond the pages of a textbook requires a different set of skills.

Learning English from a textbook, but having trouble speaking to people in public? Did you recently move to an English speaking country and want to understand the locals? Do you need to expand your vocabulary in an educational or work setting?

Don't worry, I'm here to help! As a performer, tutor, and native English speaker I have lots of experience using the English language in various contexts. I will help you broaden your vocabulary and build confidence in your speaking abilities on a variety of topics: public speaking, writing, and grammar refinement.

No subject is off limits! Lessons are flexible and designed to help you with what YOU need.
