About Carolina
My teaching method is based on the lessons that I myself had throughout my life both in high school and college, and I can highlight the classes that I had the privilege of attending at Emídio Navarro school with teacher Ana Maria Silva, excellent professional and person , which fostered my interest in the subject. Although I am not a professor of History of Culture and the Arts, I have taught numerous workshops as well as classes on this topic to help several people, both in highschool and college, and also a Master's student in Fine Arts.
My objective is to take my experience and pass on not only the knowledge I have but also some love for the subject itself if possible, because I believe that we can only truly advance when we know the past.
The proposed pace, subject and exercises will always be appropriate for the student, aiming at the best possible use of our time together. The 10th and 11th program of highschool would be followed throughout the classes, I retain both the official books and several other sources including all my class notes and preparation for the national exam as well as the books I used in the dissertation if it can be useful.
The program would be divided into 60% practice and 40% theory, thus transmitting the maximum of base information in an intuitive way without sacrificing the students' attention. Classes will have a minimum duration of 1 hour and a half, with an interval of 10 minutes. This aims to provide as much knowledge as possible during class.
I can help with assignments too, but I will never do them for the student.

A 19-year-old student in the History of Culture and the Arts, I entered the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon with this exam, completing a degree in Sculpture in 2016 and later a Master's in Drawing at the same institution in 2020.
