About Sofia
Hello! I’m a French tutor with over 4 years of experience, specializing in teaching high school and college students. Throughout my career, I’ve had the pleasure of helping around 150 students develop their language skills and reach their full potential in French. My teaching philosophy is built on patience, understanding, and flexibility. I believe that every student learns at their own pace, and I work to create a supportive, positive environment where students feel confident to ask questions and practice without fear of making mistakes. I focus on making lessons practical and relatable, so students can use French in real-life situations, both in and outside the classroom. I cover all aspects of French, from speaking and writing to listening and reading comprehension, with an emphasis on vocabulary and grammar. I’m also passionate about introducing students to French culture, which helps deepen their connection to the language. Over the years, I’ve helped many students improve their grades, prepare for exams, and even pursue careers that require French proficiency. I’m dedicated to making learning French a rewarding and enjoyable experience for all my students!
