About Thane
I’m a French tutor with over 4 years of experience helping high school and university students build confidence in grammar and writing. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in French and Francophone Studies, and I’m passionate about making the French language both clear and inspiring. My tutoring style is creative, patient, and tailored to each student’s unique learning style. I specialize in helping students who struggle with grammar rules and essay structure. I break down complex grammar into simple, step-by-step explanations that actually stick. Whether it’s verb conjugation, agreement, or sentence flow, I make it easier to understand and apply. I also guide students in writing essays that are not only correct but expressive and well-organized. We work on developing ideas, building strong arguments, and writing with clarity and purpose. I love bringing in French poetry, history, and literature to show students how rich and beautiful the language can be. Watching students grow from frustrated to fluent is the most rewarding part of my work. I’m here to turn those tough grammar lessons and tricky essays into moments of progress.
