About Wren
Hi! I’m a French tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Education in French as a Second Language. I love working with complete beginners and helping them feel comfortable with the language. My teaching style is patient and fun, and I believe humor makes learning much easier. I use games, skits, flashcards, and storytelling to bring grammar and vocabulary to life. These tools make lessons engaging and help students remember new concepts better. I’ve helped many students gain confidence in speaking everyday French, whether for travel, school, or work. Seeing their progress and excitement motivates me every day. I focus on making each lesson enjoyable and stress-free. Together, we build strong foundations and practical skills in a relaxed way. I want every student to feel proud of their achievements. My teaching approach is focused on making French easy and enjoyable while meeting each student’s academic goals. I support school curriculum learning and help students prepare confidently for exams. We work on vocabulary, grammar, speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in a balanced way. I use memory retention tricks to help students remember new words and concepts faster.
I also teach effective test-taking strategies to reduce stress and improve performance. For students with a background in French or those who travel frequently, I adapt lessons to build on what they already know and help them communicate more naturally. My lessons are interactive and tailored to each learner’s pace and needs.
I believe practice, patience, and positive reinforcement are key to success. I encourage students to speak as much as possible and build confidence in their abilities. Together, we develop a strong foundation that supports both academic progress and real-life use of French. My goal is to help you reach your full potential while enjoying the learning journey.
