About Cyrus
My teaching approach is highly interactive and focused on clear articulation to help students speak French confidently. I emphasize pronunciation drills to ensure every sound is mastered. We explore regional variations to understand how French changes across different areas. For beginners, I use simple dialogues to practice everyday conversations. Vocabulary retention is a key part of my lessons, using fun and effective techniques to make words stick. I guide learners step-by-step toward speaking clear and natural French. This is especially helpful for those learning for travel or reconnecting with their heritage. Together, we build a strong foundation, sound by sound, so that pronunciation becomes second nature. My lessons are tailored to each student’s pace and goals, ensuring steady progress. I focus on making every session engaging and supportive. Clear communication is at the heart of my teaching. Whether you want to navigate a trip or speak with family, I help you gain confidence and fluency. With patience and practice, you’ll sound more natural every day. Let’s work together to unlock your French speaking potential.

I am a dedicated French tutor with over 3 years of experience and a BA in French Cultural Policy and Arts Management. My expertise lies in working with advanced students who are passionate about Old French and historical linguistics. I specialize in guiding learners through the rich analysis of early French texts, from epic poems to chivalric romances. These foundational works, including authors like Chrétien de Troyes and Marie de France, have always inspired my teaching approach.
I support university students preparing for specialized research or deepening their understanding of historical linguistics. Together, we explore the evolution of the French language in its earliest forms and contexts. My lessons are tailored to develop both critical analysis and linguistic skills needed for academic success. I believe that understanding the origins of French enriches not only language proficiency but also cultural appreciation.
With a passion for uncovering the stories behind the language, I help students master complex texts and historical nuances. Whether you are delving into medieval literature or preparing research projects, I provide personalized support every step of the way. Join me to discover how the French language and its literature have evolved through centuries. Let’s embark on a journey through time and master the roots of French together.
