• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  So basically i am giving coaching classes for two subjects , CHESS and HINDI LANGUAGE.
  I had started playing chess when i was 5 years old thanks to my mother and developed more interest in this game from 2nd standard when i started winning various chess tournaments. Since then it has been 13 years playing chess and i have played 6 nationals . I was selected for two S.G.F.I. (School Games Federation of India) but due to some reasons i was able to play only one S.G.F.I .

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  I have always wanted to share my knowledge with ones who are interested to learn. Also my mother has been my motivation to choose teaching. The way she had helped me to grow and taught me various skills is the reason why i am able to express myself in a good way.

• How does your work help society?

  When we are interacting with different people we get to understand each other and this helps us build good relationships. Also when we share our knowledge we are helping our society grow in a certain way.
  For instance, i am also giving classes for HINDI LANGUAGE and this will help foreigners to interact with Indian people and know their culture in a better way.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  I do not have a role model as such.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Besides teaching i love making portraits and i love writing so i maintain a diary for that . And if somehow none of the above is possible for me, i am addicted to play online chess tournaments specially 1 minute blitz.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  Oh yes! When i started to teach i was not comfortable with any kind of chess software , and first 4 or 5 online classes which i had taken were on my chess board itself. I kept learning and experimenting with one of the software and finally today i am confident teaching with it.
  So, i just need to tell everyone don't loose hope and feel inferior , try again and again , focus on your goal and one day you will definitely get to the top.
  Also I have learnt to be consistent and have a lot of patience, because nothing big comes in your way itself , it takes time to achieve something, you have to do hardwork and a lot of practice to be a master !
