About Kevin
Mr. Newsome is a collaborative educator, performer, composer, and music producer with a proven ability to help students reach their full potential in remarkable, unexpected ways. He has performed across the U.S. and worked with several artists to produce records. His music is performed regularly in the U.S. by a variety of ensembles and performers. He holds a master's in music performance and composition from Oklahoma City University and a bachelor's in music performance from the University of South Alabama.

Every student in my studio receives a highly curated and structured curriculum that focuses on getting students to reach their full potential. Lessons consist of warmups, learning songs, improvising, songwriting, and more. Students are encouraged to perform live, record their music, and explore new genres of music. Anyone is welcome to take lessons regardless of age or skill level.
