I’m a guitar tutor with 7 years of experience, combining teaching with an active performance career across jazz clubs, rock venues, and music festivals. I hold an Associate Degree in Guitar Performance, and my lessons reflect the real-world demands of being on stage. Each session blends technique with practical musicianship, focusing on improvisation, stage presence, and personal expression. About the lesson

My teaching approach is built on patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of each student's learning style. I focus on strong foundations in classical fingerpicking, staff reading, hybrid picking techniques, and tonal control. Lessons are carefully paced, with exercises designed to build skill and musical confidence step by step. I use visual aids, rhythmic drills, and ear-training to help students fully grasp both technique and theory.

For students with recording and performance goals, I provide guidance on tone shaping, timing, and expressive phrasing. I help them sharpen their skills in layering guitar parts, improvisation, and studio-ready playing. I offer consistent support in achieving clean technique, musical storytelling, and stage presence. Whether a student wants to write their own music or perform with energy and emotion, I guide them with real-world tools.

We also work through a range of repertoire suited to each goal—solo pieces, ensemble studies, and modern arrangements. I adjust the material based on progress and inspiration. The aim is to make every session purposeful and motivating. Students who thrive with bold energy and creative drive will find the structure and support they need to push forward. I teach not just how to play, but how to grow as a thoughtful, expressive guitarist.
