About João

As an education professional, my pedagogical work goes beyond simply teaching the contents learned at school. Here it is understood that respect for the student and their own learning time is the basis of any educational process.

I take as a priority the need to give the student the most diverse ways to learn school content. With interaction, creativity and freedom, in my work, young learners develop their ability to have autonomy regarding their own development process.

It is worth saying that I use the constructivist perspective (Jean Piaget) as a tool to achieve this autonomy; to focus on improving the student's ability to self-worth.

About the lesson

My classes are usually very lively, didactic and full of questions that challenge the student to learn and develop their participatory capacity!

I have experience with students with educational needs and use different resources and methodologies in the learning process. I am always sensitive to the student's pedagogical needs.

My classes are aimed at children from 5 to 13 years old from any background. I teach in Portuguese, English and Spanish.

They are planned from the prior notice of those responsible about the contents to be worked on. Classes are held by video call or in person, from the student's and parents' choice.
