About Selina

I am a dedicated Spanish tutor with 4 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of helping around 150 students improve their Spanish skills and reach their academic goals. My teaching philosophy focuses on making language learning engaging, practical, and accessible. I believe in creating a positive, flexible environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and make mistakes, as that is the key to growth. I use a variety of teaching methods tailored to each student’s learning style, focusing on speaking, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and listening comprehension. Whether preparing for exams or improving day-to-day communication, my goal is to make Spanish easy to understand and enjoyable to learn. One of my proudest achievements is helping many students achieve excellent scores on their Spanish exams and even pursue Spanish in their future studies or careers. I’m committed to every student’s success and look forward to helping you improve your Spanish skills in a fun, supportive way.

Whether you're focusing on speaking, writing, vocabulary, pronunciation, or preparing for exams like DELE, I use a variety of methods to keep lessons engaging and practical. I emphasize real-life conversations and immersive techniques, helping students to understand not just the language, but the culture behind it. Through dynamic exercises, we cover essential areas like grammar, listening, reading comprehension, and phonetics, while focusing on vocabulary building and fluency. I make sure to provide continuous support and encouragement, so my students feel confident in their progress. Integrity and transparency are important to me, and I work closely with each student to set clear, achievable goals, while making sure they enjoy the learning journey. Together, we’ll make mastering Spanish a rewarding experience!
