About Jarl
My name is Jarl, and I have a degree in geology from the University of Oslo (B.Sc). In addition, I have taken several master courses at NTNU in Trondheim. Has previous experience from my job as a student assistant in Trondheim. Took the subjects Geofag 1 and Geofag 2 in upper secondary school, and is familiar with the syllabus in the subjects. Passed the university subjects in mathematics with high grades, and I feel confident teaching in middle school mathematics.

As I have been a former student assistant, I know the importance of students feeling confident in asking me all sorts of questions. This is essential for me. If the student is engaged, it will be much easier to convey knowledge. I like and actively use visual aids such as figures or physical objects to explain to students how things go in a simple way. For me, it's about teaching the essence of the curriculum, and then building on it, this is how the foundation is laid - ready to be built on.
