About Margaret
Hi, I'm Margaret! I'm a qualified NSW Primary School Teacher with a Master of Teaching (Primary) and over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience in Preschool and Primary School settings.
I specialize in working with Infants and Primary school students in reading, writing and math. I love helping children who may be struggling with a particular concept or simply need a little extra confidence and encouragement.
I believe children learn best when they feel safe, supported and successful. My lessons are personalized, engaging and designed around each child's individual needs and learning level.
One of the most rewarding parts of teaching for me is seeing a child go from saying "I can't do this" to "I did it!" That's what I aim to create in every lesson.

Young children learn best when they feel comfortable, supported and successful.
I use short, engaging and interactive activities rather than simply working through worksheets. Lessons are tailored to your child's current level, learning needs and interests.
I focus not only on what your child needs to learn, but also on helping them understand "I can do this!"
I am particularly interested in supporting children who may benefit from a more inclusive and individualized approach to learning, including neurodivergent learners.
Lessons are conducted online and are designed specifically for young learners.
For K–2 students, I recommend 30-minute sessions to keep learning focused, achievable and engaging. For Years 3-6, one hour sessions are recommended.
Parents receive feedback about what we have been working on and areas to continue practicing.
