About Neri

As the CTO and co-founder of a successful start-up, I’ve led the development of innovative tech solutions from the ground up. I bring hands-on experience in both business strategy and technology leadership, with a deep understanding of the challenges non-technical founders face. My journey in the start-up world includes having two of my ventures reach the national finals of the Irish Student Entrepreneur Forum (ISEF), where I secured 2nd place. I have previously exited a start-up and have been involved in several others, experiencing both successes and failures along the way. Currently, my latest start-up is in New Frontiers Phase 2, where we have full-time team members dedicated to scaling our business. My teaching approach is practical, jargon-free, and focused on empowering you to steer your start-up toward success.

About the lesson

Understanding the technical aspects of your start-up is crucial, even if you don’t have a tech background. My "Tech for Non-Technical Founders" class is specifically designed to demystify the technology behind your business idea, empowering you to make informed decisions and lead your start-up with confidence. These 1-hour sessions focus on the essential technical concepts, tools, and strategies you need to bring your vision to life. In this class, you will learn: The basics of software development and key technologies (e.g., databases, APIs, cloud computing) and how to choose between them when creating prototypes, MVPs, and full products. How to communicate effectively with developers and technical teams. Building and managing a technology roadmap. Understanding the lifecycle of product development from idea to launch. Evaluating technical risks and making strategic technology decisions. Each session is tailored to your specific needs, whether you’re at the idea stage or already building your product. My goal is to bridge the gap between your vision and the technical implementation, enabling you to lead your start-up confidently.
