About Sarita

I am a native French speaker who has been tutoring for more than 15 years. I have a Teacher's Certificate and currently have about 30 students whom I tutor face to face and online. I have been tutoring Canadians and international students. I offer one-on-one as well as group tutoring.

About the lesson

I use the lecturing and collaborating methods. I focus on mastery of grammar so that students can express their ideas in grammatically correct sentences, which helps them with both their writing and reading skills. I also put a lot of emphasis on pronunciation so that when the students speak they are properly understood. I encourage students to read a lot of French books and materials so that they can build up their vocabulary, hence being more confident when they have to express themselves in writing. I ask students to read aloud and record their reading so that I can correct their pronunciation.
