About Rafael
I’m Rafael Tan, a Master of Architecture graduate from the University of Melbourne and a practicing Architectural Graduate based in Melbourne. My work bridges architecture, design, and digital modeling, with a strong focus on how technology can enhance creativity and precision in the design process. Over the past six years, I’ve used Rhino 3D extensively across academic projects and professional practice, from conceptual modeling and complex forms to detailed fabrication workflows. I’m passionate about sharing not just the technical aspects of modeling but also the design thinking that drives great architecture. Through teaching, I aim to make Rhino both approachable and powerful, helping designers turn abstract ideas into clear, buildable, and expressive 3D forms.
