About Akshi
I’m Akshi, a research assistant at the University of New South Wales with a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Macquarie University and over seven years of experience in scientific research and academic publishing. I specialize in molecular biology, cancer research, and biomedical techniques such as PCR, qRT-PCR, CRISPR gene editing, flow cytometry, and bioinformatics. Throughout my academic and professional journey—from the lab bench to supporting high-impact journal publications—I’ve developed a passion for simplifying complex scientific concepts and helping others build confidence in their understanding. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge, support aspiring scientists, and contribute to their growth by making science both accessible and exciting.
