About Elizabeth
I have won awards for my research and students have returned to take various courses with me because of my style of teaching. What my students enjoy is my focus on ensuring they understand the material and taking the time to approach differently when needed. I listen to my students when they tell me what they need and how they learn and I do everything in my power to accommodate those needs. I am passionate about teaching in a way that students actually learn, not just rote memorization. Each person is unique and not all people process the same way. I recognize that and work with students to accommodate their learning style.

My graduate school education is extensive and diverse, and my teaching experience covers students from high school to fourth-year university students. I understand people learn in different ways and I adapt to learning styles. My approach is interactive and relies on students telling me how they learn.
