About Rebecca
Hello Parents! My name is Ms. Rebecca. I have 13 years of experience as a teacher. I have worked in Special Education for 13 years and I have worked as an English as a Second Language (ESL) for 3 years online with students from China and 1.5 years to adults. In addition I worked as a Pre-K teacher for 1 year. Before becoming a teacher I worked as a Special Education Behavior Aide Specialist. I have a Master's Degree in Special Education from Lamar University. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in English as a Second Language (ESL) EC-6 from University of Houston Clear Lake. And I also received my Associates Degree at San Jacinto Community College. I am certified in English as a Second Language (ESL), Teaching English as a Second Online Language (TESOL), and Teaching English as a Second Online Language (TESOL) Advanced. I understand the challenges of learning and have experience helping children overcome these challenges. It is my personal goal to help each child learn and grow and achieve their individual goals to succeed in school. I want to help the children learn and overcome their objectives, while also giving them tools to be successful in and out of the classroom setting.
