About Ummu Afiqah
I work as a teacher at a kindergarten whereby I teach reading for 4,5 and 6 years old. Besides, I also teach Quran and Maths. Additionally, I do part time tutoring in which I mainly teach English for primary school kids focusing on writing, communication, grammar and comprehension. I also help these kids with their school homework. These students really enjoyed my class as I always ensure that my teaching session should always be interactive and fun.

I teach reading by phonics. My teaching approach would be through fun games and interactive hands on activities. By this mean, kids can start reading independently right after few sessions provided to them as they are familiar with sounds. I call this as magic phonic method.
