About Nadine

I want to create a safe environment for students to submit essays privately for critical analysis and direction to prepare and achieve top marks. I do not write essays or dissertations for students but give clear direction and critique students in order that they learn and understand what universities mean by critical analysis and first class essays. Often students fail to understand what is required of their submissions and it is my role to keep students academically engaged and chasing the 1st class marks. This can only be done by students' extensive reading and tutoring to extract critical analysis. Universities do not want regurgitation of facts in law, they want your arguments backed up with academic and case law. My role is to prepare you to write as an academic, think critically and write concisely. I tell my students 1) What is the law? 2) What is wrong with the law? 3) How can we change the law? Back this up with case law and academic commentary and we will get great marks. I have always had a deep fascination and love for the law. One of the main reasons I want to teach law is because I believe in the power of the subject to make a positive impact on society. Law has the ability to shape the world, protect rights, and resolve conflicts. By teaching law, I can equip my students with the knowledge and skills they need to make a difference in the world. It's a privilege to be able to ignite a passion for law in my students and encourage them to pursue careers in the field. By fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of legal principles, I hope to inspire my students to become advocates for justice and champions of the rule of law. Teaching law allows me to provide mentorship and support to my students. I strive to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring their interests. I want to be a mentor who not only imparts knowledge but also provides guidance, advice, and support to help students navigate their legal careers. Additionally, teaching law is a continuous learning process for me. Each student brings their own unique perspectives and challenges, which constantly push me to deepen my understanding of the law and find innovative ways to convey complex concepts. It allows me to stay updated with the latest legal developments, engage in scholarly research, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the legal field. Overall, teaching law is a truly fulfilling and rewarding profession for me. It allows me to combine my love for the subject with my passion for mentoring and inspiring students. By imparting legal knowledge, fostering critical thinking skills, and instilling a sense of justice, I hope to shape the next generation of legal professionals who will contribute to a more just and equitable society.

I am an experienced law tutor with a strong academic background in medical law, criminal law, property law, and contract law. I hold an undergraduate and master's degree from Queen's University Belfast, a prestigious Russell Group University. I assist students in formatting essays and problem questions for coursework and exams. Students prepare their own work which I mark, give feedback and give suggestions on obtaining top marks. This enables students to achieve their highest potential with a polished submission. My teaching philosophy centres around creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring complex legal concepts. I take a personalised approach to teaching, tailoring my methods to fit the individual needs and learning styles of each student. I specialise in dissertation and research project tutoring during the year enabling students to gain top first class dissertation results. I tutor and mark dissertations from September each year. Places are limited as they are my priority students, resulting in high marks enabling students to achieve their full potential. I believe in breaking down complex legal principles and providing real-life examples to help students understand the subject matter. I encourage active participation and foster a collaborative learning environment where students can freely express their thoughts and ideas. Teaching is a mixture of online tuition and marking students' work. Please be aware marking is a significant part of the tuition process and is charged at the same rate as face-to-face tuition. I mark essays and suggest improvements, assist in sourcing academic commentary to improve grades. I aim to teach students how to gain top marks through research and critical analysis. I am committed to staying updated with the latest developments in the field of law, ensuring that my students receive the most current and relevant information. I continuously seek opportunities to enhance my teaching methodologies and incorporate innovative techniques to make the learning experience more engaging and impactful. In addition to teaching, I have a proven track record of assisting students in preparing exceptional essays and dissertations. I guide students through the academic writing process, helping them develop strong research skills, structure their arguments effectively, and cite sources accurately. I also have extensive experience in helping students prepare for term exams and open book examinations. I provide comprehensive study materials, practice questions, and exam techniques to help students excel in their assessments. Overall, my goal as a law tutor is to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to excel academically and succeed in their future legal careers. I take pride in witnessing the growth and achievements of my students and find great joy in helping them reach their full potential.
