About Jasmine
I hold a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature, a Bachelor’s degree in English Linguistics, a Teaching Diploma, and a TESOL certificate. I am also PGCE qualified and proud to have been awarded the English Subject Superstar Award 2025 for my commitment to high-quality teaching and student progress.
Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of learners across different ages, levels, and educational backgrounds. My experience includes KS2, KS3, KS4, GCSE English Language and Literature, AQA, WJEC/Eduqas, A-Level support, 11+ exam preparation, SATs, IELTS preparation, essay writing, creative writing, reading comprehension, and academic English.
My academic training helps me understand how students learn, why they may struggle, and how to adapt lessons to suit their individual needs. I combine this knowledge with practical classroom and tutoring experience to create lessons that are clear, engaging, and focused on meaningful progress.
I believe students learn best when they feel supported, challenged, and understood. Whether a student needs help building confidence, preparing for an exam, improving their writing, or aiming for the highest grades, I provide structured guidance and personalised support every step of the way.
I have also continued to develop professionally through training in digital teaching tools and educator development, including experience as a UN trainer delivering workshops for educators.

Hi, I’m Jasmine, a Master’s Graduate in English Language and Literature and an experienced English tutor specialising in GCSE, IGCSE, KS3, AQA, WJEC/Eduqas, British curriculum English, essay writing, creative writing, literature, and poetry analysis.
My lessons are personalised, structured, and focused on real progress. I teach students how to understand texts, analyse quotations, structure strong paragraphs, improve vocabulary, and write with clarity and confidence. Whether a student needs support with the basics or is aiming for Grade 8–9, I adapt each lesson to their level, target grade, and learning style.
In my classes, students receive clear explanations, model answers, sentence starters, essay scaffolds, exam-style practice, and personalised feedback. I make English feel less overwhelming by breaking difficult skills into simple, achievable steps.
