About Maxwell
I am a postgraduate who loves the Humanities and Social sciences, whose particular fascination is language and meaning - and how the subjects under these umbrellas utilise it. At university, many friends would rely on me to cut down their work and make their meaning more clear - prioritising the important thoughts. Since it helped Uni students so much - I figured I should offer it in my free time in case others want me to go through their work with them.

I am flexible in my subject area - I have a grounding outside of History and Politics in English Literature, History of Philosophy, Political Economy and some sociology.
The main way I improve tutees is to improve their writing style. The key to any exam is prioritising the right content, making the right kind of argument concisely and making it in a fluid and readable style. I will go through the tutees work and we will workshop how to develop an authentic voice and style whilst prioritising the right type of content.
Ideally I will teach A Level students - but I have proofread for many people at University level for 4 years and am willing to adapt to anyone with an interest.
