About Marc
I graduated from a masters in international relations and was working for the French red cross for a while. But bureaucracy not being my thing, and covid happening, I decided to become a diving instructor and travel for a while. This job made me realize I love teaching, and getting to know people at the same time. It also made me realize that teaching doesn't have to be boring, rigid, and performance based. But it can be as flexible as the teacher or student wants it. As long as you reach your set objectives.
So thats why I want to teach French now, so I can keep doing all the things I love: traveling, diving, and teaching.

Not being a fan of academia, I believe in a different approach. I believe communication and oral practice, followed by a few written exercises, are the best way to learn a language. Tutoring is teaching, but also guiding, and building confidence. Any student should learn at their own pace, and with different methods. There is not A way, and I'm here to accompany in already existing methods or courses, or create new ones.
