I am passionate about nursing and ensuring that students understand the basic knowledge required to safely care for patients in a real-world environment. I am currently teaching and nursing and ensure that I stay up to date on evidence-based practice.

I love to take a conversational approach to teaching so I can understand what you already know about the topic and try to connect real-world patient presentations to the content you are learning to help you understand how the information is relevant and how it can all fit together. I've been an RN for 17 years, my background is ER nursing and I currently teach full time and also work in an IV clinic. I've been teaching since I finished my Master of Nursing in 2015.
I've been told by students that because I'm passionate about the content that I teach, it makes it more interesting for them to learn.
For practical nursing, healthcare aide, or registered nurse students. I could also tutor high school biology students in the human anatomy and physiology content or high school students taking sports medicine or kinesiology options.
