About Jocelyn
I have been an experienced tutor, teaching assistant in schools and part-time lecturer/tutor in a college for 1 to 2 months. Based on my experience with young people within and outside of education, I now understand that in order for students to be successful, they need a simple revision strategy system for them to action before they even study the content. The same goes for coursework to prepare for if there is a deadline, and how to get it completed to good quality standard. I want to be able to support students to get the best grades, so that they can reach the next level with whatever they want to do in life.

I start by asking students their strengths and weaknesses. Just have a general conversation with my students.
I then show my students the subject content they need to know for revision.
Then I create a revision study system that supports students based on the two things combined - strengths and weaknesses and a routine around past papers.
When it comes to coursework, I will ask them what may be limiting them to do better in their work or what concerns, but more so assisting them with how they are supposed to present their work to get the best mark. Similar ambition to get better results for examinations.
