About Audrey

Hello! My name is Audrey Golsteyn, and I am in the final year of my Master’s degree in Science at the prestigious École Polytechnique in Paris.

I am pursuing a career in medicine. Born in France and partly raised in Alberta, I have a deep connection to both cultures and currently live in France to further my studies. I am passionate about the French language and have always enjoyed helping others learn and appreciate it as much as I do.

About the lesson

For Children:
I can support your children in learning French, whether they are in French Immersion or a full French program. I focus on improving all four language skills: Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking.

For Adults/Students:
I offer engaging French conversation classes to help adults improve fluency and build confidence in speaking French. For university students in their first or second year, I provide specialized assistance with corrections, speaking, reading, and writing.

My Approach:
With over six years of tutoring experience, including three years of private instruction, I adapt my lessons to the unique needs of each student. I prioritize their homework (if applicable) to ensure they fully understand the material before progressing. I employ active recall techniques to reinforce knowledge from previous lessons, helping students retain what they've learned.

My lessons cover a broad range of skills, including:
- Writing proper sentences and using diverse vocabulary, expressions, and grammar.
- Mastering various verb tenses and improving reading comprehension.
- Perfecting pronunciation and understanding the unique sounds of the French language.

I also strive to make my classes fun and engaging while being attentive to the student's needs, such as taking breaks or switching activities when necessary.

All lessons are conducted online via Zoom, providing flexibility and convenience for learners.

I have extensive tutoring experience and currently work with multiple students across different age groups, helping them develop fundamental French skills such as speech, conversational fluency, grammar, and more.

To connect with new students, I exclusively use Superprof to establish initial contact. From there, I continue communication via email or text for convenience and personalized interaction.
