About Laura

Hello, I'm Laura. I love to travel to different countries and experience different cultures. My favorite place I have ever been is Iceland. It is a beautiful dream world! I like to feel well with good nutrition and fitness. One of my favorite at-home activities is gardening.

About the lesson

My credentials are a Master of Education in Instructional Design, and a Bachelor of Science in Education. I have obtained a Master +48 with a Health Certification. I hold four teaching certificates: Elementary (1-6), Special Ed (K-12), Early Childhood (Birth-3), and Secondary Family and Consumer Sciences (K-12). I also hold Nutrition, Fitness, and Culinary Educator Certs. I have experience working with young children, older children, teens, adult undergrad and grad students. My experience also goes a bit outside of traditional education with an emphasis in wellness in the areas of nutrition, fitness, weight loss, time management, and goal setting. I am adaptable and versatile with a learner-centered approach. Deciding how to best meet the needs of the learners/clients has always and will continue to be my focus. I look forward to working with you.
