I am currently a second year mathematics student at uOttawa. I started giving maths lessons a few months ago and I really enjoyed it! I'm also an artist, I paint, draw and sculpt. I gave few drawing lessons last year.

I always like to start with reading you class notes or textbook chapters that I'll be helping with to know what methods the actual teacher is using so I can understand better what your problem could be or to follow the same way so that you don't get lost. Then, as our first lesson, we could talk more about what problems you have with a certain course and what you're good at (understand better), I'd give some advises too.
I also like to start each lessons with a summary (recall) of everything you've learnt during the week and start off with the things that you feel you need the most help with.

My rate for high school students is $20/h and for university/college it's $30/h;
the travel fee can be less or more than $10, depending on how far your place is from mine;
if we have set a day to meet and you unfortunately can't make it, please cancel at least 10 hours before.
