About Sarah
I am a qualified primary school teacher with nearly a decade of experience working with a diverse range of children, of varying ages and abilities. I particularly enjoy teaching mathematics, using a structured approach that moves from the concrete (hands-on activities) to the pictorial (visual representations) and then to the abstract (more complex concepts). This approach helps students build a solid understanding of math, step by step. While I have a strong preference for mathematics, I’m also open to tutoring in other subjects and providing homework support. This allows students to grasp difficult concepts at their own pace while feeling empowered to tackle new challenges. Typically, I offer tutoring sessions that last 60 minutes, which is the optimal duration for maintaining focus and productivity, especially for younger students.
