About Elizabeth
I have a CEGEP degree in Education and have just finished my 3rd year of my Bachelor's degree. I was asked to be a peer-tutor in my college's writing center. I have completed my first 3 internships as a student teacher and therefore have experience in the field. I have also worked as a substitute teacher since the end of 2020.

I aim to give students strategies in order to make them more self-reliant. I want them to eventually rely on me less and less until they don't need me anymore. I also want learning to be fun, which is why I employ gamification techniques to "trick" students into learning. However, it is important for students to have a certain amount of memorization in English and should be done in increments as to not have them memorize a whole subject for one week (as many ESL teachers do when assigning vocabulary or reg/irregular verbs).
