About Spenser
I’m a dedicated McGill music student with years of performance experience and a lifetime of studying music. In classical and jazz. I’ve studied piano to RCM Level 8 and specialize in jazz bass at Schulich School of Music at McGill University.

Are you looking to take your piano or bass playing to the next level? As a McGill music student with a passion for teaching, I would be excited to offer personalized weekly lessons designed to help you reach your musical goals!
Piano: Whether you’re working on a beginner method book or working towards an RCM exam, I’ll guide you through technique, repertoire, and musicality, tailoring each lesson to your needs and pace. I’m happy to work with whatever books you’ve been using with previous teachers or get started with RCM!
Bass: Learn to groove and develop your skills in a variety of styles! From foundational techniques to improvisation, walking and other technique I would love to help you build confidence and versatility on Upright Bass or Electric Bass.
I’m available for online lessons or in-person lessons during the school year in Montreal. Let’s make music together!
