About Vicenzi
During my career I have worked a variety of different settings. From hospital departments and clinics, in office for a health information department, and now remote with a coding department. I spend a lot of time educating providers and coders while working with directors in the field to problem solve within a large organization that covers health systems across the states of IL, KY and IN. I received my Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) in 2023 and continued my education with Illinois State University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management and Informatics in 2025. With a combined ten years of healthcare experience I am eager to use my knowledge to help others growing within the industry!

Registered Health Information Tech (RHIT). Graduated with an associate in applied science in Health Information Management in 2023 and a Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics & Management in 2025. I have a combined ten years of healthcare experience. Five years of hands-on healthcare experience ranging from clinic, inpatient, emergency, and surgery settings. I have five years of office experience in the Health Information/Coding field. I have worked within four different types of EMR during this time. The past three years of health information experience I have gained proficient knowledge/skills in data abstracting, auditing, release of medical records, as well knowledge/skills in coding, CDI, and state registries. I am currently a Coding Lead, leading a team of 18 coders in a variety of specialties - Allergy, Urology, Hematology/Oncology, Plastics, OBGYN, Neonatology, Perinatology, Urogynecology & Pelvic.
