About Daya
I am a Biological Sciences graduate and currently a Graduate Entry Medical student with a strong passion for education and helping students achieve their potential. Having experienced the pressures of GCSEs, A-levels and university study myself, I understand how important the right support and encouragement can be.
I have previous experience mentoring GCSE students and enjoy helping students build both their academic ability and their confidence. I am patient, approachable and supportive, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions without worrying about getting things wrong.
Studying medicine has strengthened my communication skills and taught me how to explain complex information clearly and simply. My aim as a tutor is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them become more confident and independent learners.

I offer personalised tutoring in English, Maths and Science, with lessons adapted to each student’s individual needs, confidence and learning style. I focus on breaking difficult topics down into simple, manageable steps and making sure students genuinely understand concepts rather than simply memorising them.
Lessons can include topic teaching, worked examples, practice questions, exam technique and identifying areas where the student needs additional support. I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
I am a Biological Sciences graduate and currently studying Graduate Entry Medicine, giving me a strong academic background, particularly in the sciences. I also have experience mentoring GCSE students.
Lessons are typically one hour and are suitable for GCSE-level students, including those looking to improve their confidence, strengthen weaker topics or prepare for upcoming exams.
