About Jeneva
Hi! I'm a current medical student and recent graduate of Marquette University, where I majored in Biological Sciences, minored in Law & Society, and graduated summa cum laude through the University Honors Program.
However, my academic journey wasn't always filled with straight As! In high school, I struggled with chemistry, sometimes earning grades in the 60s and Bs. During my first semester of college, I also earned several grades that fell short of my personal expectations. I quickly realized that the study habits I had relied on weren't necessarily the most effective for me.
Through trial and error, I discovered new ways to approach challenging material, improve my time management, and study more efficiently. These changes helped me earn consistent As throughout the remainder of college and ultimately achieve my goal of attending medical school.
Having experienced both academic frustration and success, I'm passionate about helping other students discover their own potential. I understand that everyone learns differently, and I believe that effective study habits, organization, and confidence can make a tremendous difference in a student's academic experience.
Outside of academics, I enjoy wellness, fitness, and finding ways to maintain balance while pursuing ambitious goals. I hope to help students not only succeed academically but also develop sustainable habits that allow them to enjoy life outside the classroom!

As a current medical student and honors college graduate, I understand firsthand that academic success isn't always a straightforward journey!
In high school, I struggled with chemistry, sometimes earning grades in the 60s and Bs. During my first semester of college, I also received several grades that fell short of my personal expectations. However, through trial and error, I learned how to adapt my study strategies, manage my time more effectively, and approach challenging coursework with greater confidence. These changes helped me earn consistent As throughout the remainder of college and ultimately pursue my dream of attending medical school.
My academic coaching sessions are designed to help high school, college, and premed students make similar improvements by discovering what study strategies work best for them.
During our sessions, we can work on:
-Developing personalized study schedules and exam preparation plans
-Learning effective study techniques, including active recall and spaced repetition
-Improving organization, productivity, and time management
-Identifying why current study habits may not be producing the desired results
-Managing demanding course loads while maintaining a healthy balance
-Building academic confidence and sustainable study habits
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work with each student to understand their individual challenges, goals, and learning preferences. Together, we'll develop practical strategies they can apply independently to their coursework.
My goal isn't just to help students improve their grades, but to help them become more confident, efficient, and independent learners. I believe academic success is a skill that can be developed, and I'm excited to help students discover what they're capable of!
