About Kia

I am a UK medical student with a background in Biomedical Sciences, breast cancer research and experience navigating competitive healthcare applications. I understand the challenges of preparing for the GAMSAT and the importance of having a clear strategy rather than relying on endless hours of unfocused revision.

My tutoring focuses on helping students develop the skills needed to approach the GAMSAT with confidence, including critical thinking, scientific reasoning, essay structure, and effective exam technique.

Having studied biomedical sciences and progressed into medicine, I can help students strengthen their understanding of key scientific concepts while also developing the problem-solving skills required to perform well under GAMSAT conditions.

I provide personalised sessions tailored to your current level, goals, and areas for improvement, whether you are starting your preparation or looking to refine your approach before sitting the exam.

About the lesson

Lessons are tailored around your individual GAMSAT preparation needs.

We can focus on:

- Section 1: Developing strategies for interpreting complex texts, analysing arguments, and improving reasoning speed.

- Section 2: Structuring essays, developing ideas, improving clarity, and practising effective written communication.

- Section 3: Breaking down scientific concepts, improving problem-solving approaches, and applying knowledge to unfamiliar scenarios.

Sessions can include:

- Reviewing practice questions and identifying patterns in mistakes

- Developing personalised revision strategies
Improving timing and exam technique

- Building confidence with challenging concepts

- Creating an efficient preparation plan

My aim is to help you move away from passive revision and develop the reasoning skills needed to approach the GAMSAT effectively.

Lessons are available online, allowing flexible scheduling around university or work commitments.
