About Brenna

I am an MSc graduate and have been tutoring since my first year of University in subjects ranging from anatomy and physiology to first year psychology courses, while also going over simpler things like essay structure/editing, note taking and time management skills.

About the lesson

I think it is really important, as a tutor, that you establish a connection with your student, like anything else you want to ensure that you can trust the person teaching you and not run into a situation where it is just another person lecturing you. It is about you finding the best help that fits your needs. Most of my time has been spent with either secondary students or first/second year university students. More often than not, once things are explained to students in a way in which they understand (i.e., depending on what kind of learner you are) and broken down in the basic form, you are able to carry those learned skills to other subjects.

My going rate is €20/hour however, because I feel that connection between student/tutor is imperative, the initial consult is free--that way, we can spend time figuring out what type of learner you are and discuss the issue at hand without feeling like any time has been wasted.
