About Francesca

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by! Let me first say I love people and would be lucky to get to spend time with any of you talking about these subjects that fill me with joy and be a part of anyone's journey. I have two B.A.s from Hunter College in Philosophy and Religious Studies. I studied as many subjects and signed up for as many courses with names like "Magic, Witchcraft and Religion, Black Women in the Americas and Caribbean, Middle Eastern Studies, Refugee and Asylum and The Sacred Sky to name a few. Honors society Philosophy student specializing in Greek Philosophy. I am trained in many of the core thinkers and various offsets like philosophy of mind. Special focus on Asian religions: Buddhism, Hinduism, and Taoism. I have worked as a Bartender in NYC and Berlin. I was the vice president of the Hunter College Chapter of the Phi Sigma Tau. I have been trained as a TEFL teacher, in behavioral therapy for children with autism and in children's theater. I have been offering tutoring services since high school, with a wide variety of subjects. I edit novels. I moved to Berlin last year and have acclimated well despite the major challenges that come along with moving. I speak Spanish and Ein Bisschen Deutsch. I lived in Mexico as a child, and was primarily raised in the U.S. These experiences have allowed me to learn so much, always furthering my ability to teach. I would love to work with you in a learning style that best fits the subject, paper or any big move you're navigating. I have dyslexia and dysgraphia. I can relate to any difficulty and would love to support you in finding what works best!

About the lesson

Hi there! I am passionate about humanities, culture, media, society and their intersections. Studying in Manhattan graciously allowed me an enriching and wildly diverse education. With a background in Cultural Anthropology, Sociology and comedy I would love the opportunity to explore these topics and learn from my students. It would be an enriching experience for me and I hope to aid in any part of your journey.
