About Louise

With 13 years of experience as a French tutor, I have worked with a wide range of High School and College students and successfully taught around 150 to 200 learners. My teaching philosophy focuses on personalised learning and building confidence through consistent practice.

I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to match their pace and learning style. I design my lessons to be structured yet flexible, combining grammar, vocabulary, listening, and speaking practice in a balanced way. I also use real-life examples to make learning more relatable and meaningful.

I encourage students to participate actively, which helps them become more confident and engaged. One of my notable achievements is helping students improve their academic performance while also becoming comfortable in speaking French. Many of my students have developed a strong interest in the language and continue learning with enthusiasm.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching French focuses on creating lessons that are interactive, practical, and meaningful. I use real-life examples, case studies, and conversation exercises to show how French is applied naturally in everyday situations and professional settings.

I follow a flexible teaching style, adapting lessons to each student’s level, pace, and learning goals to ensure effective and personalised learning. Collaboration is a core part of my methodology, and I engage students in discussions, exercises, and role-plays that strengthen fluency, comprehension, and confidence.

I also cultivate a compassionate environment where students feel safe to take risks, make mistakes, and grow. Along with French, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing, and cultural knowledge to provide a holistic learning experience.
