The approach that relates the most to the way I teach is the communicative approach. This method's main goal is to connect people through language, it focusses on being successful at communicating in the target language. My goals are for my students to be able to communicate in Spanish. I want my students to be confident enough not only to start a conversation but to speak up for themselves as well. I want to give my students the tools they need to thrive in their environment and realize how learning a new language can help them.
